“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

'Heel'oween! *

*credit to Phil Corcoran

It's that time of year when all the crazy people come out of their hiding places and frighten people on the streets.... or it's tits out and bum out. Welcome to Halloween in America! Also known as 'Heel'oween in Chapel Hill, because we are Tar Heels!

This is Me, Louise and Tegan with Harrison Barnes, the best basketball player at UNC - he is a legend around here and is tipped to play in the NBA. I also only found this out after the photo..

Louise's boyfriend came out from London to stay, so we had to show him the true Southern American Experience... what better way than a meal at Mama Dip's Kitchen - fried chicken galore! Knicole decided to branch out and order some bread and butter pickles... this is what she ended up with:

We are still unsure where the bread and butter part of the pickles comes in..

Rob, Me and Lou

Lara, Amanda's friend from Australia who is studying in Canada also came and visited. We took her for a tour around campus and to the last football game played at home here. Amanda, Nathan, Nicole, Jordan, Sarah, Phil and I also went to a basketball game this week - lots of fun! Much more exciting than a football game.

As you can see, the halloween festivities go on for a while here... and it's getting soo cold!! well.. 16deg, but it feels really cold compared to the usual 30!

Anyway, have to run, I have an exam in 30min! boo.
